Mrs Karen Campbell, B.Sc (Hons), B.V.M.S., M.R.C.V.S. (Partner)
Karen is the Principal Partner of Campbell and Galloway and has been with the practice for over 18 years. She achieved a degree in Zoology before qualifying from Glasgow University in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. She has a Lhasa Apso dog called Nigel, and a moggy called Trevor.
Born in South America, and raised in Trinidad she certainly brings the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of the Caribbean to work.

Mrs Elspeth Waugh, B.Sc (Hons), B.V.M.S., M.R.C.V.S.
Elspeth qualified at Glasgow University, then went on to work in the small animal hospital there for a year, before coming to work at Campbell and Galloway. She has always been a high-flier so it comes as no great surprise (but a considerable disappointment to us) that she has now decided to go on to do a Phd at the Vet School. However she has agreed to do some cover days with us, so you will still see her in the practice! To add to her many veterinary talents she is also an accomplished singer and a member of two choirs.

Mrs Catriona Gibson, B.V.M.S., M.R.C.V.S
Catriona qualified from Glasgow University, then went on to work in mixed and small animal practice in Yorkshire for 7Years. Originally from Edinburgh, we are pleased that Catriona has decided to stay with us on the West Coast, near Glasgow. She has a Collie cross called Drummer (in the picture!) and a ginger moggy called Tango. Catriona brings with her a wealth of experience and a gentle caring approach to her patients.

Miss Donna MacDonald R.V.N
Donna is a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse who hails from Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides. She is very enthusiastic and committed to her work and is always a calming influence in the practice. She often brings her larger-than-life and very loveable Newfoundland, Coby, to work with her and also has three cats - Thomas, Billie and Rupert. She loves to travel and recently visited New Zealand, where she patted and cuddled white lions and tigers – and as usual was cool as a cucumber – we have seen the photos!

Miss Louise Grieve B.Sc (Hons) R.V.N
Louise already had a Honours degree in Zoology from Glasgow University and had spent time in Borneo with orphaned orang-utans before deciding that Veterinary Nursing was the career she wanted to pursue. Now not only is she a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse, but she is also studying a course in Animal behaviour and Psychology which has already come in very useful with a couple of patients at the practice. Somehow she also manages to find time to adhere to a rigorous fitness regime and regularly participates in sponsored runs for various charities-it’s exhausting just keeping up with her!

Miss Jade Charlton
Jade is the face of the practice-luckily for us! She is always professional and welcoming, and is hoping to embark on a course later in the year to achieve a Veterinary Practice Administration qualification. She is very well travelled having lived in London and then Tokyo for 5 years before settling in Glasgow, and certainly achieves the Far Eastern calm and efficiency whether reception is busy of quiet.
