Surgical Preparation (Prep) Room and Surgical Theatre

In our prep room we can anaesthetise and prepare your pet for surgical procedures before transferring them to our sterile operating theatre.  We also carry out what are known as ‘dirty’ procedures in this room, for example cleaning out abscesses, flushing ears, or doing dental procedures.  Our modern dental facilities allow us to scale and polish teeth using a modern ultrasonic scaler and remove any loose or damaged teeth with the help of a drill if needed, under anaesthetic.

Our well-equipped, purpose designed, sterile operating theatre provides excellent facilities if your pet requires surgery – whether elective (e.g. neutering) or if they require more of an emergency procedure. We also have facilities for sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment to allow the highest standard of sterility for surgical procedures.
