Emergencies / Out of Hours
If there is an emergency, for example if your pet has a bleeding wound or is having problems breathing, or any other problem that seems urgent, please phone us right away. We will make arrangements to see your pet as soon as possible.
If your pet falls ill when the surgery is closed, please contact our emergency service providers, Pets A+E. They operate a modern hospital-type environment a short distance away from the practice, with experienced staff on hand at all times to care for your pet or help with urgent advice. Their address is 78 Stanley Street, Glasgow, G41 1JH, Tel 0141 429 3800. If you call us outwith our opening hours an answering machine will give the Pets A+E number. If you have a non-urgent question, please call us the following morning and we will be happy to help. If your pet is seen out-of-hours the charge will usually be higher than during the days, due to the anti-social hours.
